Understanding Your Hosting Invoice, Renewal, and Due Date

An invoice records an amount due; the service renewal date identifies the period being renewed. Review both before paying, especially when multiple services or domains share an account.

Before you begin

Sign in through the official client area and keep account-specific values from your activation email available. Make a backup before changing production data or configuration.

Steps

  1. Review line items: Confirm the product, domain, billing period, quantity, discounts, taxes, credits, and currency.
  2. Check status and due date: Unpaid, paid, cancelled, and refunded are different states. A payment confirmation should match a paid invoice.
  3. Understand automation: Invoices may be generated before renewal so there is time to pay. Overdue services can be suspended or terminated under the provider’s terms.
  4. Correct details early: Update allowed profile or tax information before payment; issued invoices may have legal editing restrictions.
  5. Ask precise questions: Provide the invoice number and disputed line item to billing support, but never include full card details.

Important notes

  • A domain and hosting plan can have separate renewal dates and policies.
  • Cancelling automatic payment does not necessarily submit a service cancellation request.

When to contact support

Contact support if the documented controls are unavailable, the service reports an account-level restriction, or the issue continues after these checks. Include the affected domain or service, the exact error, a timestamp with timezone, and the steps already tried. Never include passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or complete payment details.
