A mailbox must exist before most users can sign in or receive mail. Confirm that the domain’s MX records point to the platform that will host email.
Before you begin
Sign in through the official client area and keep account-specific values from your activation email available. Make a backup before changing production data or configuration.
Steps
- Open email management: In the hosting control panel, choose Email Accounts or the equivalent mailbox tool.
- Create the address: Select the domain, enter the local part, and use a unique generated password.
- Set a quota: Choose a limit that leaves room in the overall hosting account. A full mailbox can reject new mail.
- Test webmail: Sign in through the secure webmail link and send a message to an external address, then reply.
- Configure devices: Use the exact incoming and outgoing server names, ports, and encryption settings shown by the panel.
Important notes
- Do not use a catch-all mailbox as a substitute for creating needed addresses.
- Keep the mailbox password separate from the client-area and control-panel passwords.
When to contact support
Contact support if the documented controls are unavailable, the service reports an account-level restriction, or the issue continues after these checks. Include the affected domain or service, the exact error, a timestamp with timezone, and the steps already tried. Never include passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or complete payment details.
