Use this launch checklist after your hosting service is activated. Keep the welcome email available because it contains the control-panel address and account-specific nameservers.
Before you begin
Sign in through the official client area and keep account-specific values from your activation email available. Make a backup before changing production data or configuration.
Steps
- Sign in securely: Open the client area from the provider’s official website, set a unique password, and enable two-factor authentication if available.
- Choose how the domain connects: For a new site, use the nameservers in your welcome email. If DNS must remain elsewhere, point only the required web records instead.
- Publish the site: Upload files to the account’s documented web root or use the application installer. Make sure the home page is named index.html or index.php.
- Enable HTTPS: Issue or activate the SSL certificate after DNS points to the server, then enable the application’s HTTPS redirect.
- Verify the launch: Test the domain and its www version in a private browser window, submit any forms, and check the mobile layout.
Important notes
- DNS changes can take time to appear worldwide.
- Do not send passwords or private keys in a support ticket.
When to contact support
Contact support if the documented controls are unavailable, the service reports an account-level restriction, or the issue continues after these checks. Include the affected domain or service, the exact error, a timestamp with timezone, and the steps already tried. Never include passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or complete payment details.
